Packaging Research Centre Sdn Bhd (PRC) was established in 1992 in response to the pressing need for research facilities in the packaging industry. PRC has progressed rapidly and has been granted the Approved Research Company status by the Malaysian Government in 1996. In the national and international arena, PRC has won several prestigious accolades, e.g. Malaysia Star, Asia Star and World Star.

In today's competitive business environment, it has become pertinent to create highly durable, attractive yet cost effective packages in order to be a market leader to satisfy customer needs. Bearing this in mind, PRC has diversified from just R & D based services to packaging related testing, designing, training and consultancy.

PRC takes pride in having a team of qualified, dynamic and experienced staff. Supported by state-of-the-art equipment have helped clients to find packaging solutions during product development, production, trouble shooting or third party verification, to name a few.

PRC is wholly owned by San Miguel Corporation, the Philiphines' largest food, beverage and packaging conglomerate.
